Calling Names - in a good way!

We have teased it for a while, but now we have our team of artists together! You have no idea how exciting this is for us!

After loosing our initial artist, it was hard for us to get the motivation together to find a new artist. We reached out to some artists, and after talking to them, we made changes that allowed for this exciting new set-up:

We turned this project into a project that highlights 5 different artists and their styles - all working with the same simple instructions: dark, grim, gritty and un-glorious! Why un-glorious? Because the job of a Cleaner is just that. Cleaners are not the ones in the spotlight, they are not the sung heroes, the ones statues are built for, no, Cleaners are working in the shadows, always hiding from the witch-hunt.

Cleaners are the ones that get the job done!

So, who are these 5 exciting artists? Glad you asked! Our team consists out of artists that all work with TTRPGs themselves - either purely as illustrators or as double thread of artist & game designer. Here they are in the order you will encounter them in the Intro Mission in the book:

First up is Eddie Yorke, an artist you might have seen working on other LUMEN game titles. He will be illustrating the first scene setting up our story, but he will also give the Knobel their form. Check out their work over here.

Second up is Sin / Diwata, artist and game designer from the Philippines. They will be illustrating the Adventure Seed scene, a conversation between the Chief and the Soul Detective. Sin will also breath life into the Spuk. Check out their fantastic games over here and join their Patreon to support them!

Third up is Alex from NewYearStudios, also an artist and game designer with some experience with Mörk Borg - just the touch of darkness Clean-Up Crew deserves! He will illustrate the scene where the Cleaners get ready to kick some ass, and will give the Scafan a face. Check out his work over here.

Our forth artist is Marcin, an artist that dropped on twitter just recently, but already gathered a well deserved buzz! Marcin will be working on the scene right before the action in this Intro Mission takes over and we explain the 'controls' of this game. He will also illustrate the Wîgant and purely based on what I have seen from him on twitter, he is just the perfect fit for this. Check out his twitter and just browse the images there.

Last, but certainly not least is Paul Paloma, another artist that enjoys illustration monsters and creatures! He will be illustrating the scene in between two monster waves in this interactive Intro Mission. Paul will also bring the Valk to life. Check out his work over here and buy them a Ko-Fi

You can see why we are excited - and why you should be excited too!

But who knows, there might be more! One of our stretch goals is more artwork! We are already reaching out to more artists to diversify this portfolio even more, because even though Clean-Up Crew has just 5 archetypes, it has plenty more Monsters! So, if you want to see more artists on board, help us promote and reach not just our funding goal, but also our stretch goal!
