We had a short section on setting up Messy Cases in the first version, but with all the updates, the more choices in Weapons, Spells, Curses and Monsters, we had to react on this with an expanded section on Messy Cases - especially which Intel you should receive in your initial call from the Soul Detective.

The thing is, with more choices comes more specialization. And this specialization is only fun if I can use it. So giving you choices to Gear Up before you get into the Messy Case makes it so much more fun playing the Messy Case. And Clean-Up Crew is all about the fun of kicking ass!
