License Notice

We noticed, that we didn't make our license philosophy explicit in the previous version of RISE, so we corrected this and updated RISE and the itch page with our license philosophy:

Give Credit where Credit is Due!

Now, you might wonder what this means or why not use a CC license or something similar. Simple, we don't like legal texts, even the good and helpful ones. We just can't deal with this and since our whole operation is our hobby, we are not adding this additional stress to our mental health.

We simply mean what we say: If you use RISE, give us Credit. That's it. How exactly you do that is up to you. You could use our Made to RISE logo that we conveniently provide for you with or just mention us somewhere in your game text.

Yes, we mean what we say and won't take it back - and even if our future selves would take it back, whatever you did with RISE before our future self turned it's back on us is yours!
