When we designed Rise of the Apes, one of the criteria we set for ourself was conciseness: short, to the point, without unnecessary clutter! But there is value in wider explanations - and we acknowledge that!

We are currently working on a single A5 spread (or A4 landscape paper) with the game rules played out neatly for the individual situations as a sort of cheat sheet for the Directors. Players will undoubtedly benefit from this as well, but it is ultimately intended for the Directors running the game.

Inspiration for this Director Cheat Sheet came during our initial design cycle, but for time reasons - and the excitement to publish - we had to push this document back and are working on it now - and some of your feedback suggests that this is a document many of you would appreciate!
