As you might imagine, the Quixotic SRD is not the most serious project - but it is FUN! So, how did we get here?

It all started with the idea to create something that makes you roll lots of dice without forcing some strange mechanic on you. A narrative approach sounded like the most reasonable option and with that it was clear that we would create a system that rewards elaborate narratives, and *BAM!* the one-sentence-description-rule was established! That's pretty much it.
